ABOUT JADE TAPSON GLASS

Jade Tapson is a glass artist based in West Yorkshire, United Kingdom. She completed her studies at the University of Sunderland's National Glass Centre, receiving a BA in Glass and Ceramics in 2014 and an MA in Glass in 2016.

 

Jade specialises in screen printing on glass, using glass powders and employing the technique of air entrapment to produce intricate patterns and uniform bubble formations, creating highly tactile artworks with a mesmerising presence.

 

Her work has been showcased locally and internationally, featuring large-scale bespoke artworks. In addition, Jade crafts unique fused glass jewellery, gifts, homeware, and bespoke artworks, reflecting her exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail.
